Group Manager – Service Progam Management for our client Verizon Business (a leading provider of IT, Communications, Security & Network Solutions to business and governments globally, with an annual turnover of US$100 billion)


Their key customer markets include energy & utilities, education, financial services, health care and retail as well as government.

The role reports to the Director of Global Client Services – EMEA and is responsible for 7 clients with contract revenue of circa US$1bn.


Purpose of Role:

Ø       responsible for leading service programme manager teams and technical programme manager teams to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention through the provision of technology solutions for Verizon's top EMEA clients


Ø       Act as a change leader  to embed and deliver the strategic business transformation programme to realise the new behavioural / operational model for the business eg moving from a traditional telco service provider model to an end-to-end solutions based technology enhancer


Ideal Candidate profile

Ø       Strong technology sector programme management background with multi-industry experience from for example outsourcing, consultancy, end user business 

Ø       Management & leadership of teams responsible for delivering complex $multi-million IT solutions to international clients.

Ø       Experience of leading change/business transformation in a multi-stakeholder matrix structure

Ø       Experience of managing client relationships at a strategic C-level

Ø       Ultimate accountability for budget management, service delivery and margin objectives

Ø       Circa 80% services delivery with 20% incremental client revenue development
