Customer Services Director

Our client is a leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi looking to appoint a Customer Services Director.                         

The position will be responsible for developing and implementing a world-class customer service strategy which can encompass management of investors at both ends of the spectrum (ie. high net worth and the more modest single unit investors).

The strategy will cover short term problem solving, and detailed medium- and long- term customer service plans.

The responsibility for customer services will fall entirely within this individuals remit and they will be responsible for setting up the infrastructure required (personnel, processes and procedures, database, proactive call centre etc) to ensure world class customer service delivery.


 Key characteristics and skills:

  • Proven experience of changing the way an organisation thinks about customers

  • Passionate about customer service

  • Demonstrable evidence of having developed a customer centric environment within an organisation

  • Hands on with a genuine desire to interface directly with “customers”

  • Ability to build, manage and motivate a team

  • Ability to influence at the highest level in an organisation

  • Understanding of the Middle East/ Arabic culture/ Arabic language skills would be useful, but not essential if the person is technically strong

Essential Experience:

10 – 15 years experience in hospitality/leisure / banking or travel customer service environment currently operating at a strategic level eg Customer Services Director, Head of Customer Services or similar
