Responsible for: Convenience & wholesale sector

 

 Purpose

 

  1. To ensure achievement of BC, Volume, BC per case and distribution targets for the accounts listed above
  2. To monitor W&M logistic service levels to ensure achievement of 98.5% minimum inbound performance
  3. To provide accurate & up to date forecasts for all brands and all SKU’s for W&M production purposes. Maximum variance allowed is +/- 10%
  4. To negotiate, agree and then monitor compliance of joint business plans for all customers. These JBP’s should aim to grow W&M volume and profit in all cases by the agreed levels as outlined in the relevant annual personal objectives.
  5. To agree a 12 month rolling promotional plan which operates strictly within the promotional parameters guidelines
  6. To work closely with the W&M marketing team to develop brand equity building proposals and activity for each of the customers
  7. To monitor and evaluate ongoing the promotional uplifts and return on  investment of any marketing or A&P monies spent; then base future decisions on these findings
  8. To identify and secure any opportunities to develop new business either through new distribution in existing accounts or new listings in accounts which fall within the remit of this role but are not current customers we supply

 

    Qualifications / Experience 

    1.    A graduate with university degree or equivalent

    2.    Highly numerate and able to demonstrate sound commercial awareness

    3.    The ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels

    4.    Two years experience of managing Off Trade Account(s)

    5.    Previous category management experience would be desirable
