Global Bank Sector Responsibilities

  •  Develop annual business development and marketing plans with the Global Head of Financial Institutions
  •  Lead the creation of client development programs for Bank
  •  Sector target clients, including the management of a portfolio of clients
  •  Manage the planning, targeting and implementation of Bank Sector initiatives
  •  Motivate partners and associates to undertake business and client development activities in a focused manner
  •  Refine and share best practice in all areas by benchmarking against other firms and other industries
  •  Playing a substantive or management role in firm wide or sector pitches/proposals/RFPs
  •  Manage, motivate, communicate and contribute to Bank Sector business development and marketing initiatives across all practices and offices.

 

London Capital Markets Practice Responsibilities

  • Proactively lead the position of the practice as thought leaders through the application of the full marketing mix (including campaigns, publications, newsletters, directories, league tables, deal coverage and PR, internal communications, web-based/digital media)
  •  When necessary lead in the management and production of RFPs and pitches.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial experience in Business Development and Marketing (preferably Banking and/or Capital Markets), including all aspects of planning, management and implementation
  • Leadership skills, in particular taking initiative, the ability to set an agenda and drive projects through, and a desire to take responsibility
  •  Mature, resilient approach; ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
  •  A good team player
  •  Confident, articulate and persuasive
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills
  •  Track record of managing projects
