REGIONAL CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Job Duties:

  • Implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure that the organization is complying with all laws (statutory and regulations), industry codes of conduct and company policies; maintain awareness of legal compliance requirements and communicate any changes to staff
  • Responsible developing agency and staff compliance training and monitoring in the Asia Pacific Region
  • Maintain awareness of legal compliance requirements and communicate any changes to staff
  • Take part in industry and government forums on legal compliance
  • Responsible for the management of corporate fraud in the region, establishment and monitoring of regional controls and handling related complaints
  • Conduct biannual compliance risk assessment with local compliance officers
  • Oversight responsibility for the regional management of business and enterprise risks and business continuity/disaster recovery by the establishment and maintenance of risk registers and business continuity/disaster recovery plans

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance or equivalent
  • Min. 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably in agency compliance or internal audit
  • Regional experience is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance operation and compliance matters
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
