Main Purpose of the Job:
Provide support to Actuarial Manager for value production of European Embedded Value (EEV), Stautary/Capital management
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct all valuation process from model point preparation up to spreadsheet level on result analysis
- Check results from Prophet modeling/tables to ensure that they are in line with specified methodology and assumptions and meet the required standard/guideline
- Investigate and explain trends, errors or inconsistencies that have been spotted
- Analyze financial information to provide accurate results and meaningful conclusions
- Perform financial analyses to support the business units in making business decisions
- Implement the changes including Prophet model development to regular financial reporting processes and analyses
- Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods, modeling, process and financial results
- Prepare summary materials and results summaries in appropriate form for stakeholders
- Assist in planning and managing workflow for the team in line with priorities
- Supervise team members to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Review work from analyst for consistency, reasonableness, comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose
- Manage valuation checking to ensure quality of source data
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree majoring in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics with all SOA technical papers and
FAP1 and FAP2 passed or equivalent
- At least three years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
- Good verbal and written English skills
