Job Title Marketing Director (Genius Gluten Free)
Location Anywhere in UK
Purpose of Job

To provide marketing leadership to the Genius Ltd business.

To further develop the UK and International Marketing and Communications strategy for the Genius business.

Key Tasks

  • To further develop and refine the UK and International Marketing Strategy for the Genius and Livwell brands and the Genius Ltd business.
  • To oversee the company’s market insight strategy ensuring consumer, category, competitor and customer data is effectively gathered and interrogated to allow the creation of business growth strategies and plans.
  • To act as the senior lead and interface with creative agencies including:
    • Design
    • Advertising
    • Digital and PR
    •  Providing strategic direction and encouragement to Partners plus the mobilising of their collective energy and output.
  • To ensure the reputation of the brands and business is protected at all times and programmes are developed to deliver reputational enhancement with all defined Stakeholder groups.
  • To operate and contribute as part of the Genius Executive to ensure delivery of the 3 year plan.
  • To lead develop and motivate the Marketing (UK and International) teams.
  • To ensure budgets, schedules and performance targets are met and owned by the Marketing team.

Candidate Profile

  • First hand, recent and relevant experience in a senior marketing role –
    preferably UK and International strategic brand development.
  • Excellent experience in new media.
  • Experienced in developing a portfolio of brands including private label brands.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to motivate and deliver, through people.
  • A quest for continuous improvement and best practice.
  • An individual who appreciates and understands the importance of unique business cultures, high growth and pioneering new market sectors, and how to translate this effectively into marketing strategy and the marketing function.
  • A, “sleeves rolled up/can do” attitude.
  • A deep understanding of the organisation’s financial performance and how the marketing function impacts upon it.
